Juanita Fields Memorial Scholarship
The Juanita Fields Memorial Scholarship will be awarded once a year to African American recipients from families that meet eligibility criteria.
The number of scholarships provided each year will be determined by the annual resources of the Foundation. The application process involves completing a form and writing a personal essay. The program will be based on economic need.
The Foundation's board of directors will review applications and essays each year to determine which individuals qualify for assistance. Board policies and procedures will ensure that any funds disbursed are used for intended purposes.
We anticipate implementing the scholarship program in January of 2008. The program will be advertised through high schools in Illinois and Oklahoma.
